Don R. Lewis III
Project Director of Emerging Markets
Don Lewis has worked in the business and brand development and brand communications arena for 15 years, providing project management, strategic planning, production, marketing and creative services for clients large and small. Don has developed a diverse background in assisting companies with strategic development and implementation of marketing, communications, multi-media Initiatives for their B2B, B2Consumer and B2Community needs.
Mr. Lewis has also developed and managed and array of programs that targeted corporate, Non-profit, Governmental and Community Partnerships to help facilitate business development, technology and Diversity Programs for Urban communities. He as developed marketing and branding strategies for companies in construction, energy, entertainment, franchising, insurance, technology and telecommunications fields. And has excelled in creating and developing innovative and unique marketing, creative and communications based solutions targeting Gen X and Gen Now consumers.
Don served as National VP Technology & Diversity Programs for the UMCA Resource Group, Inc. (UMCA-RG), a 501(c) 3, non-profit organization with (319,000) independent contractors nation wide. Highlights included: creating and producing the 1997 HBCU Technology Summit - the first Technology Summit held for 104 Historically Black Colleges and Universities; launching a $60 million dollar Technology Program Initiative with Apple Computer, the US Dept. of Education, Skills Bank, Symantec and investment firm A.H. Williams; and co-creating an International study abroad program for Historically Black Colleges and Universities with Schiller International University
Don was also co-creator and author of "The Diversity Initiative", a national program initiative which targeted increasing Home Ownership, Computer Literacy and Computer Ownership throughout Minority communities. And developed strategic marketing platforms for “Affinity Programs” targeting the Urban Markets in the fields of computer technology, energy and telecommunications.
Mr. Lewis began his career in advertising and production where he developed significant creative marketing, branding and management skills as a freelance creative producer for Uniworld Group. Responsibilities included market analysis, focus group testing, strategic planning, consumer profiles and creative consulting for Generation X and Urban Market communities. He also provided creative services accounts including: AT&T, Burger King, Coors Light, Gatorade, Kodak, Reebok and Zima, while providing production services for TV, Radio and Print media.
He also served as President of Account Services for Dove Communications/The James Group (NY), providing business development, marketing, creative and brand development services and served as a key member of the Creative team for clients: Apple Computer, AON Corporation, Avon, Fuss, Gallery, Immersia Travel, LDDS/WorldCom, Soma Soup and ZBA Resources.
Don attended Colorado State University, studying Sociology, History and Criminal Justice.
